Although both were successful high-tech professionals, their marital relationship deteriorated after the 1983 birth of their son and hit rock bottom a few years later due to high demands of time and energy from every direction. Their struggles led her to Jesus Christ in 1989. Subsequently both her husband and son were saved. In 1995, she put her software management career aside to become a stay-at-home mom, but the Lord changed her life work to helping hurting families like hers. Their ABC son has grown up, got married, and given Winnis a granddaughter.
